Beautiful Handcrafted  Yurts made in West Cork

At Celtic Yurts we craft beautiful, modern yurts from the highest quality materials that are suitable to live in year round in the Irish climate. Our yurts are based on a time-honoured Mongolian design which has evolved over the last number of decades for the Western market. It's been adapted to create yurts suitable for use in a more stationary setting rather than as a nomadic structure.

Minimal impact on the environment.

Minimal impact on your budget.

Our yurts offer unique and intimate spaces without breaking the planet or the bank.

Fast installation on almost any site regardless of terrain allows you to live your adventure now!

We have a range of sizes available that are suitable for a wide variety of applications. Whether it’s a tiny (or not so tiny) home, a glamping space, a garden room, an artist's or yoga studio or an events space, we’ve quite literally got you covered!

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

“I loved my yurt. It was beautifully made with love and care. Gorgeous inside and out. I had a 14ft yurt and spent a year living in it. With a wooden insulated floor, sheepswool felt insulation, and a woodburner it would take about 15 minutes from lighting the burner to being toasty warm. In winter it was a special place to relax and feel protected from the cold, wet Irish weather.”

Pete Laughton / Co Cork

“As an artist I could not have dreamt of a better studio space…round, continuously aware of being part of nature, spacious, with surprisingly lots of light… I just love it. The yurt is well made, secure and we received all the necessary help for putting it up and insulating it. An all round wonderful experience and for years to come being in and creating in the yurt, will fill me with joy.”

Agnes Boes / Co Kerry

I'm delighted with my yurt. Celtic Yurts are top class. The canvas is exceptionally tough and there are multiple colours to choose from. I use my yurt as a yoga studio and it creates the perfect environment to practice and teach in. It's a dry, cosy and quirky space. I love it.

Sherry and Donal provide a wonderful service and are a pleasure to deal with. They delivered on time and followed up checking how it's going as time went on and during rough storms. We installed a stove in the space recently and it adds a huge amount of warmth during the winter months even without insulation. I'm one happy customer.
